or the touristic region around Ales Stenar, Kåseberga and the surrounding coastal villages, we created a unique collection of Augmented Reality souvenir cards — a modern, interactive way for visitors to take the region’s highlights home with them. These cards combine artistic design with cutting-edge AR technology, transforming traditional postcards into immersive mini-experiences.

Each card is illustrated and designed in collaboration with the artist Clarissa Danneberg, whose contemporary visual style captures the charm, atmosphere and identity of the local landmarks. When scanning the QR code on the back of the card, the artwork comes alive through Augmented Reality: 3D models, animated elements and playful scenes appear directly on top of the motif. Floating seagulls, drifting fishing boats, glowing lighthouses, flying furniture pieces and other coastal details create an experience that delights both children and adults.

These AR postcards are currently distributed at various tourist hotspots across the region. They not only serve as eye-catching, premium souvenirs, but also extend the visit beyond the physical location by offering a digital, interactive layer of storytelling. Visitors can explore the spirit of local places — from the fishing village Srillinge to the scenic coastal viewpoints — long after they return home.

With this project, we combined art, technology and tourism into a memorable experience that strengthens regional identity, enhances visitor engagement and opens new paths for destination marketing.
